Suggested
format for your essay: explain what life was like before the situation,
what happened and what life is like now. Writers are encouraged
to tie in an angle that briefly states how they have looked toward
Jen for motivation or inspiration. Selected
essays will be published in Jen’s upcoming book. This project
will profile how women have overcome obstacles or triumphed over
tragedy to reach their goals. Essays should read not more than
2,000 words.
Essays are submitted on a voluntary basis. Writers will not be
compensated for submission beyond the joy of knowing they are
participating in a project that will motivate and encourage other
women
